My method isn't conventional. Why? Because I tried that!
My first attempt to force the splits caused bilateral proximal hamstring tears. I asked myself, "WHY is this happening?".
The answer was muscle imbalances, which led me to create my own method to overcome limitations and safely learn the splits.
I have worked on my splits since 2018 and it wasn't fun until I stopped rushing my individual process. To master the splits safely, you must first correct muscle imbalances which means learning how to engage and activate your deep core muscles correctly. This is the prerequisite for mobility training.
By connecting with and strengthening your deep core muscle, the transverse abs (TVA), you will optimize your muscle function and reduce pain. During the first unit of the Splits Program, you will learn to engage your TVA and pelvic floor muscles for optimal strength and balance––all while shrinking your waistline!
My 8-week Splits Program will guide you step-by-step through the Splits with interactive workout videos and clear instructions.
Level 1 for Beginners is a 3 days per week plan to strengthen your core and improve hip mobility.
Level 2 for Veterans is a 5 days per week plan to strengthen your core and achieve the middle and front splits.
