60 Day Transformation Challenge Rules

1. I call it my “Challenge” because I want to challenge you to achieve your personal transformation and weight loss goals and reward you for doing it.

2. To participate in my Challenge here is what you need to do:

a) You need to be a member of both my “6 Day Kickstart” and “Online Gym”. If you are not already a member then follow the instructions to become a member at https://www.drsarasolomon.com/60-day-weight-loss-challenge

b) You need to do a video of yourself (use a smart phone, tablet, digital camera, or videorecorder). On the day that you want to start the 60 day Challenge go to the private Facebook Forum for the 60-day Transformation Challenge and then write down today’s four digit number for the day (each day between August 24 and September 1, I will write a new code for you in the Facebook Forum). Then start recording your video of yourself. Once it is recording start by saying and spelling your name, say your age, the town or city where you live and the state or province it is in, then say your exact weight on that day, and then say that four digit number that you wrote down. I then want you to show me how you look on day one of the Challenge, so stand still for a few seconds facing the camera, then turn and show your right side, then turn and show yourself from the back, and then turn and show your left side. Then stop the camera. Check how long your video is because the video cannot be any longer than 90 seconds. This Challenge is about your personal transformation in just 60 days so you need to show me what you look like on day one with this video so I can compare it to what you look like on day 60. That is why you need to wear clothing that shows your legs, arms, shoulders, and midriff. A two piece bathing suit would be good, but you can wear something else similar (just not lingerie or underwear please). After you make your video you should play it to make sure you like it and that your name and other information at the beginning is clear. If you do not like it, do it again until you get one you like. This is very important: you cannot make edits to your video. Your video has to be continuous with no stops. You also have to make sure that the video shows all of you from your feet to your head, so place the camera far enough away that you get all of you in the picture.

c) Once you are satisfied with your day one video then go to the private Facebook forum and upload your video. The four digit number in your video must be the four digit number for the day you upload your video. That day you upload your video is day one of your 60 days. You must upload your video between August 24 and September 1, 2015. When you upload your video you will also fill out the entry form that will be provided to you (name, email, mailing address, d.o.b., weight)

d) During the 60 day period you will be receiving instructions from me by email and you need to follow those.

e) On day 60 you will repeat the process that I describe in item (b). You will need to made a video of yourself on day 60 no longer than 90 seconds in which you start by saying your name, age, city or town where you live, exact weight on that day, and the four digit today’s number found in the Facebook forum. Make sure you wear clothing that shows your legs, arms, shoulders, and midriff. Remember that the purpose of your 60 day video is to allow the judges to see your transformation when they compare it to your day one video.

f) The qualified registered participant who in the opinion of the judges (one of whom is Dr. Sara Solomon) achieves the best transformation in the 60 day period will receive $2,500.00; the first runner up will receive $1,000.00 and the second runner up will receive $500.00. These three rewards will be announced on November 16, 2015 on drsarasolomon.com. In arriving at their decision the judges will be studying the day one and day 60 videos of the participants to come to their decision as to who has achieved the best physical improvement by following my diet and exercise programs. Weight loss will be an important, but not the only, factor. The judges will be looking at the percentage of your starting weight that you have lost in 60 days, so that means that if you started at 120 pounds and lost 12 pounds then you lost 10% of your starting weight and if you started at 160 pounds and lost 12 pounds then you lost 7.5% of your starting weight.

g) By registering to participate in Dr. Sara’s 60 Day Transformation Challenge a participant agrees that Dr. Sara Solomon is the owner of the videos that you upload for the Challenge and you transfer to her the copyright to such videos. Participants agree that Dr. Sara Solomon may use, or authorize the use of, the participant’s videos and still pictures produced from those videos in promotional or advertising materials for Dr. Sara Solomon’s website, products, services, promotions, presentations and lectures. The Challenge winner and first and second runners up agree to co-operate in the taking of additional photographs if requested by Dr. Sara Solomon, which photographs will be the property of Dr. Sara Solomon and may be used for Dr. Sara Solomon’s website, products, services, promotions, presentations and lectures. For the rules regarding any content you submit to Dr. Sara Solomon, please read the "submissions" section of the Terms of Service found at DrSaraSolomon.com.

h) Participants must be healthy enough to participate in weight loss and exercise programs. All participants agree by registering to participate in the Challenge that they will not employ methods to increase their weight for the beginning of the Challenge or engage in unsafe, extreme, or illegal methods of weight loss. Participants agree that Dr.Sara Solomon may in her sole discretion disqualify participants who she concludes have not abided by these rules.

i) Participation in the Challenge is optional. If you are a winner of a cash or other reward you will be responsible for the payment of any taxes on that cash or reward levied by the taxing authorities in your place of residence. This is an international challenge: those over the legal age of majority in their place of residence may participate in the Challenge.
