Unfortunately, the years of overtraining and over-dieting took a toll on Sara physically, mentally and metabolically. In 2012, Sara suddenly gained 20 pounds despite training 3 hours a day and eating calorie-restricted meals every 2.5 hours, 6 times a day. Ironically, the program Sara was following to lose fat actually caused her to get fatter because it devastated her metabolic capacity. Fortunately, Sara did her research and started applying evidence-based principles to her diet and training. It wasn't before long that she lost the 20 pounds of fat and restored her passion for fitness. Thanks to her new outstanding metabolic capacity, Sara is able to easily maintain her lean physique without having to restrict calories or spend hours doing cardio. Sara's philosophy is minimum effective dose to get results. Believe it or not, she only trains 20-30 minutes a day, never does cardio and eats "feasts", thanks to her system. What is her system? Intermittent Fasting, Flexible Dieting and HiiT Home Workouts.
