Protein Muffins

  • Today I'm going to teach you how to make a protein muffins!
  • The recipe yields 6 muffins.
  • I recommend you watch the short video at the bottom of this post before making the recipe.

Materials:


Ingredients:

  • 1 mashed ripe banana
  • 1/2 cup non-fat plain Greek Yogurt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup ground rolled oats (or buy oat flour)
  • 1/2 scoop BSN Whey  (vanilla)
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • PAM

This recipe makes 6 muffins

So 1 muffin is:

calories 173, fat 5.2g, sat fat 2.15g, cholesterol: 40mg, sodium 37.5mg, carbohydrates: 23.7g, fibre 2.9g, sugars 9.8g, protein 10.2g


Written Recipe:

  • Preheat oven to 450 degrees F
  • Place the following into a large mixing bowl and mix by hand
    • 1 mashed ripe banana
    • 1/2 cup non-fat plain Greek Yogurt
    • 1 egg
    • 1 cup ground rolled oats (Grind the oats in the nut/spice grinder or buy oat flour)
    • 1/2 scoop BSN Whey (vanilla)
  • Stir in
    • 1 tsp baking powder
    • 1/4 cup chocolate chips
  • Spray PAM in muffin liners. Dispense batter into 6 muffin liners and bake for 15 minutes (use tooth pick to verify).
